We are proud of our organisation and haven't achieved national recognition in the Sunday Times' 'Best Companies To Work For' scheme for nothing. But we know we can only maintain our reputation by hiring the right people.

We are seeking people who share our quest for high standards, even under demanding deadlines. If that is you and you want to make life easier for people with serious mental illness, we'd love to hear from you for one of our current roles (listed below).

If you can't see something that suits you now, feel free to send us your CV and we'll add you to our talent bank or email us at jobs@julianhousing.org if you would like to receive email alerts when we have a new vacancy come up.

RELIEF HOUSING SUPPORT WORKERS
Norwich - £9.25 per hour (plus holiday equivalent to approximately £1.10 per hour)
Ad hoc hours including  weekends and night work.

We run 3 residential projects in central Norwich for people with serious mental illness. We are currently seeking additional workers to join our team of reliefs who undertake adhoc shifts; providing support and guidance to residents and dealing with any incidents on site.

As a relief, you will be offered a variety of shifts to cover for rotaed employees who are sick or on holiday including night and weekend work. There is no guarantee of offers of work and you are not obliged to accept any work that is offered to you. Some reliefs will do one or two shifts per month and some work hours that are full time.

If you have at least 6 months of experience in a care or charity environment including dealing with crisis situations, then we would love to hear from you.  As a relief, you will be staffing our office and providing support and guidance to residents.  This might include helping them to fill out forms or advising them on cooking or simply being a listening ear.

You will be required to apply for an enhanced criminal record bureau (CRB) check.

If you are interested in this role, please submit your CV with an indication of the number of hours that you would like to work and any restrictions on your availability during the week along with the casual registration form and diversity form to jobs@julianhousing.org
